DQ any good on Switch? Want to give the game another go, PC is under construction until April.

Yes Dairy Queen is a delicious treat while playing a switch. Make sure to have napkins around!

That's the greatest thread title I've ever seen.

Anyways, if you're talking about DQXI, there's a 10 hour demo on the eShop, and I think you can transfer your progress, so yea.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Don Quixote?

I played it on my Pro, so I can't vouch specifically, but two of my co-workers played through the game on Switch and had no complaints. But as pointed out, you should try the demo first to be sure the quality is up to your standards. :)

i love DQ.... i knew i was gay the first time i saw a DQ...

oh wait... yeah i wanna know too... how many hours is the usual game play for this guys?

The Switch version is the definitive version. For a slight graphical downgrade, you get the best music as well as the 16 bit mode.

It's an awesome classic JRPG experience regardless of the platform. HOWEVER... the Switch version is exceptionally awesome. Exclusive story missions that give most of the main characters more background on their stories, orchestrated soundtrack, being able to call your horse almost everywhere, using the forge everywhere, japanese voice selection, photo mode, speeding up battles, the full game on a 16 bit mode, exclusive 16 bit side quests featuring past Dragon Quest titles... and much more little QOL tweaks.

I'd say if you can choose where to play this game... go for the Switch version. No contest.

Played on PS4 originally, would buy the steam version but waiting for the new tech. Forge everywhere? Used it to make the sword, elaborate.

(Just realized what you mean, not needing to find camps.)

I almost finished it I think (played 70+ hours, was in backlog). Good game so far. Bought the Switch version because you get the orchestral score (which is so much better than the usual synth soundtrack), the SNES style 2D mode + extras and the japanese voices. I tried the english ones, but I prefer the japanese. Graphics are good enough, nothing to worry. You can try the demo from the eshop for free, if you're skeptical.
