Forums - Politics Discussion - Is Bidens campaign dead? (EDIT: Well, this was turned around completely.)

Is Biden's campaign no longer viable?

Yes, his campaign is dead! 30 46.88%

His campaign is badly hur... 13 20.31%

He will take a small hit,... 5 7.81%

No, this result will not hurt his campaign. 7 10.94%

Donald Trump will win the democratic primary! 9 14.06%

Total:64

I think Biden should pull out and endorse Birdie Sanders.

This is 2016 all over again, with Bernie being Trump, and Biden being Jeb, probably.

What baffles me is that even though "establishment centrists" are supposed to be so sneaky and evil and "anti-Bernie", the nomination is being handed to Sanders in a silver platter by those same "establishment centrists".

It's also the same as with Trump on Republican side in 2016: the centrist may not like Bernie (as they did not like Trump), but they were too arrogant to believe it can work, so they failed to consolidate behind one candidate. Now they are in a mess.

The only difference was trump was clearly going to win and Bernoe is clearly not.

That's literally the point I made.

Biden ran in 1988, 2008 and 2020. He has never placed higher than 4th in any primary or caucus.

That's 115 voting contests so far. Never once higher than 4th place.

Electability, ladies and gentlemen!

Congrats Biden. You finally placed higher than 4th.

Biden at a rally in SC yesterday, “My name is Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. Look me over, if you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden.”

It's time for him to pack it up.

Video in the Tweet.

I'll be honest, I'm not a Biden fan. I don't like his policies, and I think his ethics are questionable. But that was hard to watch. It could be a slip of the tongue, but if it's dementia, I wish him all the best.
