Forums - Sony Discussion - Naughty Dog hiring programmers with Nvidia GPU and PC experience for TLOU 2

I mean I'm waiting to finish TLOU 2 in early June to sell my PS4 Slim while it's still worth anything and buy PS5 these holidays, so I would love a PC version.

I would love be able to play it in native 4K 30 fps max details no problems or 1440p 60 fps on my PC. We'll see if that's true.

If Horizon rumour is true then we will know if we can expect TLOU 2 and other Sony games on PC, I think Sony will announce this on February 5th.

The Horizon rumour being true means absolutely nothing for TLoU2 as of yet. There is really no indication that Sony is going full steam into PC release outside of just testing the water with a couple of older releases that are getting sequels on PS5.

2-3 years is fair, if sony confirms they will release PS4/PS5 games 2 years after console then I'm buying PS5 this year.

PC i can understand as it can mean universal programming but Nvidia is a interesting one. Seems like they could be optimising for Nvidia GPUs in the future which could mean ports.

Errrr they can't really ask someone for large experience on PS5 development (which doesn't exist) or even PS4 because for those they already would have the listing of ex-employees.
So they are just asking for general experienced people that could have been on 3rd party developers that worked on PS4 or even people that only worked for PC versions of games. The trick is that someone that have large experience on PC could learn the differences to PS5 or even write parts that are equivalent between it and PC.
Just a ludicrous rumor since Sony said they would put in PC games that would make sense. TLOU2 is an exclusive that push HW so they won't make it multiplat (well besides working on 2 PS consoles).

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Slow down there Sony, my penis can only get so erect.
