Personally, f*** the leaders of Iran.

"Why are homosexuals executed in Iran because of their sexual orientation?"

"Our society has moral principles. And we live according to these principles. These are moral principles concerning the behavior of people in general. And that means that the law is respected and the law is obeyed,"

Imagine getting the death sentence for loving someone.

Personally, f*** the leaders of the US as well.

"Why are unnecessary wars started that kill 100s of thousands?"

"National Security"

"Imagine getting the death sentence for living in an oil rich area"

Oh and while we are at it, f*** the leaders of the UK, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Russia, Australia and China as well

These ducking terrorists shot down Ukrainian plane killing 176 people, I have no compassion for Iran.

I have plenty of compassion for iran who keep getting screwed by US. I have none of the war mongering leaders of the US

Les be clear: Any American soldier that dies in the middle east is partially the fault if the US always because they are not supposed to be there at all. Any civilian innocent that dies in these stupid wars not wars have also died partially due to the US because they started this shitshow. And Iran and the entire region would be much better and ,ucj different had the war mongering new world invaders not come.

The Wall Street Journal may have uncovered the real reason for the attack on Soleimani.

"Mr. Trump, after the strike, told associates he was under pressure to deal with Gen. Soleimani from GOP senators he views as important supporters in his coming impeachment trial in the Senate."

This completely alters the story that Soleimani was taken out to prevent an "imminent attack" (which, by the way, they could not provide Congress when pressed during a security meeting which even GOP senators are mad about) but rather was to appease certain senators that may have not supported him during the upcoming Senate impeachment trial.

Further, Vice President Mike Pence stated at a rally last night that the attack was in retaliation for the Iraq embassy....no mention of preventing an "imminent attack" at all.

It's becoming more and more obvious this whole thing was political and not predicated on saving lives from an 'imminent attack'.

Wow. What a turn of events. Coming completely out of nowhere.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I think of it as simply getting harder for them to lie about it not being political.  It would also be interesting to know which senators needed such appeasement to have his back during the trial.  That's basically a blood sacrifice.  And it shows they'll cast off impartiality for it.

Look at some of the senators that have been there the longest.

So just returning to their early religious roots I see.

Seems like a good time to ask this question: Does the USA know of the concept of separating church and state? Do you have it, do you not have it. Do you have it, but nobody takes it seriously.

We do have it in the Constitution and it's abided by in some aspects by our government and ignored in others.  We have large swaths of the population that want it enforced even stronger and others who basically want a theocracy.  It's a topic that warrants its own thread as there is much to discuss about it.
