Definitely not a very flattering leak for Valhalla. It looks extremely unpolished, and very much like a re-skin of Odyssey. Nothing really jumped out at me as being new, or particularly different. I mean don't get me wrong, I mostly enjoyed Odyssey, despite it being an incredibly bloated game, but a little evolution never hurt anyone.

Visually, if that was the next gen version....it's not impressive in the least. There was nothing there that gave me the impression it couldn't run on the One X. Maybe it wouldn't quite run in 4k, I suppose.

Also have to say, as someone who typically likes to play as the female protagonist in 3rd person games, I'm not vibing with the voice actress here at all. She sounds like she's trying way too hard. May have to opt for male Eivor when I eventually play this game.

Yeah.. not picking up Valhalla until it's on sale. Laughable if it's 30fps on SeX with those visuals.

I also recently watched a new 20min gameplay clip of Cyberpunk and significantly lowered my expectations. It didn't look or sound right, weak voice acting etc. Of course it's a massive game so 20min clip barely scratches a surface but still..

AC4 on PS4/X1 looked pretty much exactly like the 7th gen version and still ran at 30 FPS.

They only increased the resolution from 720p to 900p on X1 and 1080p on PS4.

Ah ok, I played Black Flag on 360. I thought it would look much better on X1 because if my memory serves me right, Watch Dogs on 360 was awful compared to X1.

Anyway.. 30fps on brand new sexy console is so lame. 

Watch Dogs wasn't a release title. Cross-gen day one are usually a minimal increase with third party games. They're having to put it on too many different systems to really optimise it well.

That's why even though Cyberpunk 2077 will be backwards compatibile day one, they're still planning a next-gen update/release that could be up to a year later. CD Project Red actually care about the quality of their games.

Halo Infinite is a game that should have a big jump day one, because it's a first party title with a lot of weight behind it. It's only being developed for Xbone, XSeX and PC, with the latter likely being the least prioritised. Same thing if Forza is a release title.

I also played it primarily on 360.

Then I got the X1 and the first GwG title at that time was AC4. Sooo disappointed when I booted it up.
