Microsoft should by SNK.
We need more japanese fighting games...and Metal Slug, even is they contniue to be multiplatform.
When a fighting game is in game pass, you can grow a constant comunity and the game become relevant more time.

Oh God please. I don't need another King of Fighters game with HD PS2 art style. Either fund more artists to develop sprites, use cell-shading akin to Guilty Gear, or just use a better CGI technology in general. Microsoft should be able to easily bankroll that.

They already have Killer Instinct though. 

And someone like SNK has so many different subsets of properties, feel like it would be weird for all of that to release under one console manufacturer when usually development studios focus on 2 properties at most under a brand.

But SNK games has more apeal for the asian market. The company has a big ip catalog too (every kof, samurai shodown,metal slug and fatal fury in game pass is a good idea)

With MS money, they can make smaller games for gamepass and maintain a couple of big games (Samurai shodown, Kof,etc)

SNK would be a great get for MS, they could handle KI and they would get Samurai Shodown and King of Fighters with it.

Honestly like if Microsoft acquired WB Games, I reckon most of these studios would remain multiplatform still (Warframe definitely) but if Splash Damage moves away from Gears we could lose a valuable support studio.

Bidding wars are beginning...Microsoft should look more into WB Games if Sony acquires Leyou.

This honestly seems so weird for Sony. Digital Extremes and Athlon would not have much value for Sony atm Warframe is successful but that requires it to be Multiplatform for it to be and the same goes for the LotR MMO and the TellTale Ip. 

They passed on Ready at Dawn and have yet to buy HouseMarque and Bluepoint which would be the most obvious ways for them to start expansion.

Yeah Reece not posting Xbox news in discord, probably a smart move to get traffic here. Proud of my friend Ryuu for coming so far from 2013! I got this thread bookmarked so I can check in daily.
Excited for Fable mostly, and the new Xbox games in July conference! Hope we get some Jap. news as well. Yakuza was an amazing treat, still hoping Kiwami 2 on game pass soon.
