Damn. PS4 better than I expected. Switch and XBO both well below. Now, we see why MS dropped price, yet again. Though, I'm pretty sure they had some sales going on in early April.
Npd Switch is selling worse than last year which is surprising because it had 2 extra months this year.

If in the USA "alone" the PS4 basically outsold the XB1 3:1, then worldwide...... the differnce must be massive.
Wonder if VGChartz shows this for the weeks in April as well?

Switch had a launch + 1st holiday that year..... those two are more important than 2 extra months at the start of the year.
Plus It had Mario Odessey + BoTW, this year it hasnt had a new huge title to get people to go buy a unit.
it might not do those 20m that people are saying it will, this year.

what holiday? im talking about this time last year switch was at around 1.19m. this year switch is currently at around 1.05m. switch is behind this year even though it had 4 months this year compare to 2 months last year

Nintendo itself also said that, but like you wrote, Switch lineup until April wanst good while from this month is getting quite stronger and espacily in second half of year when we will have Smash Bros and most likly Pokemon.

Switch sold around 1.2m only in March last year that was launch month, two more months this year can really beat that, so nothing strange Switch is still not YoY up compared to last year, but it will be in few months.
