Didn't know tastes were part of genes. Mutations born from the evolution of species does not make you distate something. That's like saying that for some mutation we don't eat random mushrooms because they can be hazardous.

It's not bad for animals to eat poop, though. Dogs may do it because they're lacking in digestive enzymes, and rabbits produce a special kind of stool that they actually have to eat or else they'll get sick.


Perhaps. When I said "similar to dogs" I wasn't using that as an example of an animal not knowing poop was bad for them. I was just giving an example of an animal who ate poop.

Pretty sure it's bad for humans though.

Oh. Well, it's possible that it's as healthy for humans as it is for animals. Maybe some humans even used to not know that it was gross to eat it and did so, but I'd like to think we hunted those freaks to extinction.
