Go Apes go!

It seems that The Help could stay on top for the next couple of weeks as well.

The next big movie is probably Real Steel even though it won't be that big.

Only America then? Or will you be adding worldwide numbers too?

There isnt a foreign box-office weekend chart available yet.

Who is the guy who usually does the numbers each week? Galaki?

The help did way better than I thought it would! Of course the end of this summer has been extremely slow!

Monkey is another one that I was very happy to have done so well!

Whoever he is,he's doing it wrong.A box-office thread every week is not right, this is a gaming site, and shouldnt get spammed too much by movie box-office related threads. If they want they can update in this thread.

The Help is doing extremely well.

It will get around $150M on the domestic front alone, with a $25M budget.

Wow don't be afraid of the dark isnt as big as I thought it would be... maybe people are actually too scared to see it?

I think it got an R rating which was not expected by the producers.

Quite frankly I have no idea at all why the movie is rated so severely. The amount of violence is very reasonable and the violence is mostly suggestive as we don't see much and the movie isn't all that scary. I don't get it.

For example, Insidious was far worse on pretty much every front and it got a PG-13.

Opening this upcoming weekend :
Bucky Larson
Contagion
Warrior

I'm really,really excited for Contagion!Huge Damon & Cotillard fan!

Apparently it got an R rating for horror, because it was too scary apparently.

I haven't seen it yet. How was it???

I thought it was good enough but the second part of the movie doesn't live up to the first part.

And it's really not all that scary O.o
