Why not? Maybe the original plan was to have 2D Metroid in 2020 and Prime 4 in 2021. Is that such a stretch for the company that released NSMBUD and  Mario Maker 5 months apart, or Twilight Princess HD a year before BOTW, or Link's Awakening in 2019 and possibly BOTW2 in 2020?

Yeah, I don't think the two are really even in direct competition with each other. I love both, but I don't really think of the Prime and 2D Metroid series as the same thing.

Do you think there's any chance we get both Prime Trilogy HD and 2.5D Metroid in 2020?
