Probably I'd buy one or even several consoles nevertheless I don't need them.
I bought an Xbox One X a few months ago although I really had to search for some good reasons. But now I can play Red Dead Redemption 1 in 4K and Conker Live & Reloaded in almost 4K and Criterion's "Black" with enhanced graphics.... so totally worth it. Also Xbox GamePass has some nice games which aren't included in PC GamePass (so far).
