I even know what to say ...i can only imagine when the most core gamers start to buy wii in mid 2010 for games like Metroid other M , and galaxy 2...

That is kind of weird.. the Wii has been fully stocked in most stores in the US since Holiday 2008.

Probably the retailers thought that Wii would never sell at 2008 numbers after the 2009 summer so ordered too little Wiis...and now they've run out of Wiis! Hopefully this means Wii will grew in the next weeks in NA, but it's impossible to reach Q1 2009 numbers (288k)...

I think it has more to do with the fact nintendo sold 3M+ units at last week of last years...

The industry-leading Nintendo is back, as i said before.

nintendo supposedly cut baxk production in November due to the poorer 2009 sales..... seems in December they sold through any of the built up stock they had.

Reducing production just before the sales started to surge again was great leadership!

Although it's possible Nintendo still have plenty of Wii's stocked up and it's retailer's fault that there's shortages.
