RatingDescription

7.5 Presentation
Vastly improved menuing system and cataloguing turns what was once a chore into something integral to the gameplay.
8.0 Graphics
Although not a significant step up from the original, this remains one of the most visually impressive games on the Wii - when it's underwater, at least. The above ground sections are lamentable.
4.0 Sound
Sparse sound effects and a monumentally annoying selection of songs will soon grate on the ears.
8.0 Gameplay
Absorbing explorational elements still provide the biggest draw, but the addition of a more structured quest-based adventure provides an easier route into the game.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
Around eight hours of story quest allied to online play and a near endless amount of exploration, you're looking at weeks rather than days.
8.0
Impressive

Just wait for the rest of the "hardcore" publications either score it down or dont review it at all.

I was always a little interested in the first game, but as of right now i doubt ill have enough leisure time to really get into this game.

That says 8.0, not 8.8...

4.0 sound? Still 8 is a good mark!

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

Lol, 4.0 for sound.... seems like cherry picking a poor score to me.... I often played Endless Ocean without any of the music playing, it's relaxing.

For sound Endless Ocean needs a few bubble sounds and the odd underwater mammal song, then on top of that some realxing songs if you want (perhaps they messed this up but I highly doubt it)

Please repost this thread with a different score in the title. I understand that it was a mistake, but as it is the title is misleading.
