Nice final list, I only missed my predicition by one place, I thought Mass Effect 2 was going to finish 3rd and Lost Odyssey 4th.

Alas, my poor Demon's Souls got overwhelmed in the end, I blame the pot shots taken against it during the entire game, even when crappy games were still on the list XD

Valkyria Chronicles is the deserved winner, great thread Seraphic ;)

Yeah, I thought ME2 would be 3rd too, but it was kind of ignored the whole time.

Alas, my poor ME2 got destroyed, I also blame the pot shots taken during the whole elimination game. VC is a great game though, so it's not like I'm upset or anything.

I'm curious though, how many people voted against ME2 because you felt it didn't belong here, and how many voted against it because you geniunely didn't like it? And if you haven't played it, but consider it an RPG, why vote against it when all kinds of other mediocre games were still on the list?

This happens in every elimination thread. People often vote against those games that feel that are the biggest threat in the long run. You can see some recurrent voters from the first pages voting the same thing over and over again, never even caring for anything else on the list.

Heck, at the start, when even Cross Edge was here, there were people in here already voting FFXIII, ME2 and Demon's Souls down xD

I liked the final result... Valkyria Chronicles deserves this... for me one of the best RPG of this gen, together with Demon's Souls.

And ME2 is less RPG than original... but deserves the third place... Lost Odyssey is boring and not deserver forty place.
