Oh, and I have a very serious question.

Are Fang and Vanille lesbians? Seriously, they're never referred to as sisters, but "partners".

One point they looked like they were going to kiss.

Are they sisters or not because I'm confused.

i wanted to ask but i thought it would be a spoiler.

How the hell do I beat the ProudClad (awesome FF7 reference, Proudclod being the giant robot that shinra uses in Midgar towards the end of FF7), the second time? I mean everything was going fine, slow but fine, I staggered him with a combination of relentless assault and diversity, took off a bit over a million HP, used combat clinic to stay alive during retaliation, keep on goin, and then BAM he heals himself back to full health. I mean what the fuck? That's over a million HP he just healed! I mean what the hell!

Any tips?

I'm at Edenhall, probably getting there soon, so I can help you then. What are your stats?

At the moment I'm using Light/Fang/hope approximate stats are

Light HP 5000ish Att 1300 Mag 900

Fang HP 5000ish Att 1200 Mag 700(?)

Hope HP3500-4000ish  Att (dunno, who cares) Mag 1100

They are level 4 for all of their natural classes.

Hummm, you're a bit underleveled in comparison to me

Fang - HP 6455, Strength 1830 Magic 982
Light - HP 6520, Strenght 1290 Magic 1230
Vanille - HP 6310, Magic 1518

I'll try to see if I can come up with a similar strategy for your stats. I had no trouble with ProudClod the first time, but this regen thingy on the second form looks like a b****

lol, I think you're a bit overleveled compared to me. I didn't have any trouble with the first one either, and this one was going fine. It's just that regeneration crap.

Ok, just defeated him and 5/5 him.

As you said, that regen is pretty annoying, but he only does that once, when goes Limits Deactivated.

After that, be aware that he has two modes of attack. Annihilation mode (on the ground) has pretty powerful attacks, made even more powerful due to the boosts he has. When he's on this mode, always SEN/MED/MED. Even then, you'll probably end up using Renew once in a while. When he goes Aerial Defense mode, go all out on him, COM/RAV/RAV. When you stagger him, be aware that at the end of the Stagger he'll use Retaliation Strike, so go back to SEN/MED/MED once again.

This route was pretty easy to follow and to kill him

Just finished chapter 12.

Probably the most epic chapter so far, in terms of story, pace and sheer power gain. 10/10

Yeah, I beat him already too. Got only 3/5 though. I was just frazzled after the first heal, I paused and walked away. He didn't do it again, and everything went fine.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Actually, I found it quite odd that the Limit Deactivated skill actually puts Deprotect and Deshell on him xD It just took me two staggers to beat him because of that.

YEAH BABY!! My SE PlayArts Lightning Figure arrived today! Awesome!! Soooo cool!

Ok here's a question.

How much more grinding should I do before proceeding to the Taejin Tower?

Currently my Battle Team Stats are as follows (almost accurate approximate stats)

Lightning - HP 4500, COM Lv4 RAV Lv3 and MED Lv4, STR 750 MAG 670, Gladius Lv 18
Fang - HP 4300, COM Lv4 SEN Lv4 and SAB Lv4, STR 750 MAG 540, Blade of Lance Lv 7
Vanille - HP 3800, RAV Lv4 SAB Lv4 and MED Lv4, STR 500 MAG 750 Healing Staff Lv 1

Snow, Sazh and Hope all have at least 2 Lv4 Classes in their strongest areas. I originally had Snow in my team instead of Fang but I decided to switch because of Fang's STR and abilites as SAB and SEN.

I've also completed Missions 1-13 so far and tomorrow I'll start Mission 14. Is that the one which grants me the Chocobo rides? Also I've seen Mission 17 and it's a Rank B. Should I attempt with my current stats?

Yep, mission 14 is the chocobo mission. Don't attempt mission 17. There's a huge difficulty spike from C missions to B missions and your current stats are a bit low.
