i am very dissapointed with microsoft.i was playing pal panzer dragoon orta on my pal 360.by the way ,,panzer orta is one of the best games around.but at the 3dr level the game crashes.and thats a 360 problem not an xbox problem....according to wikipedia

how difficult is for microsoft to fix this problem with a simple update????

The backwards compatibility on the 360 is generally poor anyways. Not so much because of technical difficulties, but because of a lack of titles available to play. It's best to just put down the small amount of cash it would take to acquire an Xbox. I'm going to do it myself because I have a few titles like Crazy Taxi 3, Otogi and Cold Fear that aren't compatible at all on the 360.

It's also not necessarily simple. The BC is all soft emulation I think, so there was bound to be incompatible games and some compatible games with issues.

You have to wonder how liberal their use of the word "playable" is though if you consider a game that crashed after the 3rd level playable.

I know it is. I have it also. Like I said though, the 360 emulation is the equivalent of PC console emulation, which if you have any experience with it, is full of problems. Unfortunately for you, you'll need to buy an Xbox to enjoy the game properly. It's not that Microsoft didn't want to get it to work properly, it's just that not every game is possible to work, or come out 100% if they do manage to get some of it to function. That's where the Xbox Originals program came in, but unfortunately they didn't sell well enough to have it continue.

xbox1 is 30 bucks these days. ill sell you mine...
