A favorite insight of mine: “The AR (Assault Rifle) in Reach actually has more polygons than an entire Marine character did in Halo 3.” Despite working on a gutted Halo 3 engine, the assault rifle alone in Halo: Reach has more polygons than an entire marine from Halo 3, which means that the graphical improvements in Halo: Reach are certainly setting up to be astounding.

Halo 3 looked good enough.



Yeah Halo 3 was more about gameplay rather than graphics.

Reach will undoubtedly be about both :)



hmm i thought the brute guy (tall enemy) looked better in halo3 than reach but the others defenetly show that halo reach will kick ass!

I don't think they showed brutes in Halo: Reach yet.

well i meant whatever the tall enemy is in the link...i dont play halo that much to know



I remember being in awe of Halo CE's graphics. If fun to see the games side by side just to realize how much games change over time. You don't always realize leaps in graphics until you put in an old game.
