Just to nitpick, he didn't actually say "I am unimpressed with the iPad" did he?
He basically said there wasn't any surprises here.....I mean.....were there? I certainly didn't see any.

The machinarium game in your sig , its the pc adventure that you play with a robot ? cuz if it is THIS GAME ROCKS ...it should be on Wii Ware for sure ...

Ohh man....I absolutely love that game..i even made a thread a few days ago professing it's brilliance. It would be great for WW...it's already a flash game

Imagine a party (where the wii very used) and lots of people like to watch other playing ... 

ps: those glasses aren't cheap far as i know ...at least the n-vidia glasses for pc arent ...

I just started 3D PC gaming (so 22" screen). I find it rather cool.

I can understand however that you don't want this for consoles. A few things:

_Computing power... you essentially have to output the video feed twice... so you need 2x the computing power (even a little more) (this is also why I think the PS3 3D claims are just commercial propaganda).

_Setup cost (need a 3D screen... you have a 250€ 22"... but that is a computer screen)

_Lack of glaces for bystanders and cost for local multiplayer.

_Incompability with motion controls and pointing devices. (it may be 3D, but it's fake, the screen outputs 2 images so which one are you pointing at?)

_ Motion sickness (I don't have it but others do)

Having said that, I think 3D gaming will pick up, at least in PCs. And for consoles? well that will depends on 3D movies adoption, and not before.

3D vision is €120 euro or €85 for extra glaces.
