The rumor mill is great at recycling rumors. This rumor appears about once a fortnight. The perfect hoaxer bait. Take a exclusive 360 game that PS3 owners would really like to have, and tell them it is coming. The best part is as long as its over six months away. The majority of those that will buy into it will have forgotten your name. You really need to have someone put their credibility on the line.

The rumor sounds bogus to me. The time frame is the first significant tell. Given the limited PS3 user base, and the launch window. Well is the developer looking to screw themselves out of money. Had the rumor said late summer next year it would have been much more plausible. The second tell is that the rumor is needlessly vague. Had someone gotten this from the horses mouth. You could be sure product differences would be highlighted. Most developers take the time to at the very least make some improvements to a delayed port. Finally the developer has been pretty frank about the exclusivity. They have not been blowing around in the wind so why doubt them.

Exactly, and the GT sony fanboys have been going wild about it, saying that all 360 exclusives going to ps3 now.
