No. If we go by monthly subscription + live, that's 230$ a year to play a game you already have bought at retail..

yup.. had to pay fees for international ragnarok and Final Fantasy XI (which cost more than MHF) plus also had to pay monthly for Phantasy Star online (dreamcast and gamecube) and Phantasy Star Universe

Its MH, and I know from experience that it can be addictive... maybe if I would buy a 360 one day, and the game would be good, Ild deffinatly give it a shot The player interface isnt that complex, so it suits IMO consoles well...
