Did you watch the trailer?  I would think that pretty much answers your question.

you won't see Gears of War - character in the PS3 version. And that is waht the trailer is showing.

Aww, no Gears characters in PS3 version? Gimped!....nah I didn't look, my bad. I'm at an impasse right now. I want a game I can play co-op with friends, and I'm not sure if that's gonna be Lost Planet 2 or Mass Effect 2. I know they're very different games..but could either of you recommend which you believe would be better for that sole purpose? Genre isn't really important..but right now I'm leaning toward Mass Effect 2. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Lost Planet though.

I thought I read somewhere it did? I'll have to look for that. If I'm wrong, I guess that'll make my decision much easier. My, how misinformed I seem to be.
