Monster Hunter Frontier is a port of the PC version, and this franchise has never been a Wii exclusive.

Monster Hunter as a series is not Wii exclusive, it has been on the PS2 and PSP

Monster Hunter tri is still Wii exclusive. From that article you posted

Monster Hunter Frontier Online is coming to the Xbox 360. The company is aiming for a summer launch of the game, which will be a port of the PC MMORPG. Reports out of the event itself claim it will cost fans 1400 yen (about $15) per month to play. The 360 servers will be separate from the existing PC ones, but Capcom plans to merge the two sometime during the MMO's life. So far, we have no word on the game coming stateside.

The 360's game is just a 2 year old pc port.Monster Hunter tri is a new game.Same series not the same game.

Even if its an older port its still great news this series is amazing. You need to own 2 copies, one on hand-held and one on the console.
