And not saying I refuse to remove mine, I just have never heard that rule, never been contacted, and one small gif is faster to load and takes less space than the long sigs with multiple pics.

Then early 2008 they have SSBB and Mario Kart as well. Name anything Sony has to compete with all of those titles before MGS4, GT5 and FF13? Nothing, nada, zip...

I am really sick of teenagers that don't know anything about games to begin with talking noise about Nintendo. I have been playing video games longer than most of you have been alive. I own a Wii and a 360 and will NEVER own a PS3, period.

Even if they only shipped 5-600k, it still only sold 250k so that point is irrelevant. Everyone has been heralding SMG as the Wii's savior for sales and blah, blah, blah, but the truth is it wasn't. I just want you to write that SMG did not push Wii sales like everyone expected, that while the game is not a bomb, it did hit with a resounding thud, and only pushed ten thousand more Wiis than usual, and there was no supply constraint since it hasn't been selling as of recent anyway.

No one heralded SMG as Wii's savior in sales because it's the only console in Japan that doesn't need saving.

That said I don't see the point of this thread being made over and over again everyday, it's like people are absolutely furious because SMG didn't flop. It didn't reach most people's expectations but it still did around the same as the other 3D Mario platformers, so it doesn't matter how many times people make this thread and go batshit insane on people who refuse to lie and feed some fanboy wet dream that SMG "bombed," it simply didn't. The game, and the Wii, still has a ways to go before anyone starts screaming absolute conclusions.

What I'm interested in is how Ratchet & Clank's underperformance on the PS3 is being pretty much ignored (or avoided?), I haven't seen one thread address the topic. I'd really like to know what people thought about that, but instead we're getting the same SMG troll threads over and over again.

When FF VII sold "only" sold 490k at launch it was considered a flop by naznatips. FF VII is huge in japan, also SMG sold only 250k without depleting stock, I think it is a bad situation. SMG might not even hit 1 million by years end which is shocking to say the least.

e.g IGN gave it 7.8

THEN

R &C (9.0 on metacritic), Uncharted (stellar previews), haze (maybe) are 3 BIG titles for ps3

if you would've said JUST SMG it would've been ok

but you completely ruined it with saying Mario n sonic olympics...

First off as you can see on my profile, I'm not fourteen. Second, no one posting in this thread are my friends, and third how is this flamebait? There are a couple of threads that have the XBOX 360 beating the PS3. I just wanted people to know that SMG didn't move sales.

the wii does need a savior, it's falling, and fast in Japan. it was at 21k just two weeks ago, that was only 1-2k more than the PS3. I think that justifies the need of a savior.

  I've been trying to stay out of this silly argument but I just have to pipe up for this dumber than dirt quote.  Just because sales are falling down to average and not selling out anymore does not mean the console is failing, it's just finally going to normal after a year of being released.  Please realize normal sales does not mean the Wii is in serious trouble.
