possibly undertracked? Vgchartz has ps3 at 30.85 million on january 2nd.

Well it's not unlike to have higher discrepancies with hardware shipped and sold in the holiday quarter. DS is a pretty good example if you look at last quarter compared to shipped, think it is almost a solid 2 million. However, the 33.5 to about 31 million for PS3 may be a little higher than I would have expect, bar that they stuffed the market similar to that of MS way back in 2006. But no proof of that of course so just speculation.

Either way nice quarter for PS3.

When you look at the fact that the stock levels of the PS3 slim are very low currently I will say that its heavily undertracked here.
