Poll: Which team wins Super Bowl XLIV?

Indianapolis Colts 29 40.28%

New Orleans Saints 43 59.72%

Total:72

I personally think the Colts win.

Honestly, I'll be happy for whoever wins.

If both teams play as well as they played today, the Colts will tear through the Saints with ease. Manning will get off to a slow start as he's done plenty of times this year as he studies the defense. He'll then adapt and take over. Gregg Williams is going to have pull out every trick imaginable to keep Manning on his toes, because there's no way the Saints are going to luck out having him roll out to his right and throw across to the left side of the field like Favre did. You'd think a 40 year old future HOFer wouldn't make such a rookie mistake, but naturally the gunslinger had to finally reveal himself.

New Orleans will win. There isn't a doubt in my mind. I may be slightly biased, but the Indianapolis Colts are an easy team to defend. Why? They're one-dimensional. All they can do effectively is throw the ball, and New Orleans defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is one of the best defensive minds in the league, he'll have our defense ready! Many teams this season, despite knowing this 'weakness' if you call it that, about the Colts still haven't been able to put them away. You know what they say, though..there's a first time for everything.

The problem with the Saints is that they don't have an effective player that can audible on defense, and Peyton will spend the entire game changing the plays at the line. He reads defenses and adjusts better than anyone...ever. Plus the rule changes benefit the quarterback greatly to the detriment of the defense. The only hope the Saints have on defense is picking a few balls from the air. Otherwise they need to hope to outscore the Colts in a shootout. I'd give the Saints a better chance at accomplishing the latter rather than the former.

I agree with you, Onyx.

The Saints barely won that game with 5 turnovers. I just don't see the Saints getting that many from the best QB in the league in his second superbowl game.

Manning will pick apart the Saints. Say what you will, but Indy had a better time running the ball against the Jets than Saints did, so the argument against Indy being one-dimensional is just as valid.

31-14 and we'll see Indy up two TDs before the half.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I want to say Saints, but I just believe the Colts offense to be too much.

What would Breesus say? Going with the Saints haha.

But in all seriousness, not going to vote so I don't jinx anything here, but it's going to be a great game. Got a couple of the best quarterbacks of our time with a strong team battling in the Super Bowl. Been awhile since we've had powers of NFC and AFC battling it out, but that is what this Super Bowl will be. Gonna be fun.

Can we make this some kind of a bet?

The Colts are going to win.

The Saints won by Minnesota's stupidity. We should have put Jackson in at the end. He would have ran, unlike Favre.

I'm sounding like a Longhorns loser right about now.

It could have been worse. Minnesota could have had 8 or 9 turnovers.
