God I hope not. This keeps the 360 different from the PS3. They don't need the same games.

Not meaning to pick on you inparticular CGI but what youve said here has annoyed me a bit, its funny when exclusives from the playstation such as metal gear solid and final fantasy went to the 360 , everyone was saying oh "the more the merrier" or "im glad more people can enjoy this great game" but a 360 exclusive to the ps3 its "i hope not they dont need the same games"

They still have plenty of games to keep their own identity

This is EA, it'll probably come to PS3 at some point.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

If it can happen with the first Bioshock then sure why not.

Without ME1 it rather pointless. Mass Effect isn't like Final Fantasy. Each Final Fantasy game is it's own contained story and universe. Not only doesn't ME2 continue the story of ME1, the choices you made in the first game directly effect your quest in ME2.

Where were you when they announced "MGS Rising" on Xbox360

What does that have to do with anything? Last time I checked, you don't boot up your MGS4 saved game and have it change your quest in Metal Gear Rising.

@CGI Quality

Well the 16 bit era was a different animal. During that era game companies made hardware. Nintendo is the only game company left amongst the current hardware manufacturers. In the 16 bit era, no matter what third parties did, you had Nintendo and Sega churning out some of the best games exclusive to their respective platforms. Once Sony came into the hardware market and proved you could buy your way in things changed forever. MS saw what Sony doing and decided to follow suit. I'm honestly suprised that another mega corporation hasn't followed in their foot steps.

Sorry for the double post, but you need to look at CGI's posting history. He doesn't like exclusives going muliplatform period. Whether it be PS3 to 360 or 360 to PS3.

Yeah, except CGI-Quality is remarkably consistent when it comes to being an exclusive whore.

knowing EA actually needs money it's likely.

they only thing stopping them its probably a time exclusive deal with microsoft

@Xoj

Oh if EA can make Mass Effect multiplatform they will. I don't think anyone is debating that.

I completely disagree with this (you already know of course). I hope the game comes to PS3 as this will undoubtably increase the profit it generates.
