If you seach you will find them @ 220 :)  even in germany.

but standard retail price is still 250

 I am sure it is not just you.  However, I doubt I am the only one with a Wii that thinks it is better than a 260 Pro, even if they were are the same price.  Also, I doub't I am the only one that thinks Wii Sports is better than GHIII and the other two Xbox 360 games.  It also looks like $35 for the best game to come out in years is a pretty good deal.

 As you know, that is not a price drop.  It is a way to get people into the stores.

Neither...it's the store's decision to cut the loss and get people to buy stuff at their store.  You really can only go to a couple stores on Black Friday...the lines are too long usually.
 
Anyway, even if Nintendo cut the price themselves, I'm sure they'll sell plenty of copies to make a profit...
 
Also, the game will have been out for 2 weeks by this date, and Black Friday has the best deals of the year, period, so it's not bad at all.

Nevertheless, I'm going to Toys R Us next week to get Mario Galaxy and then recieve a $25 gift card...can't beat that.

SO: With the annoucement that you can get Halo for free, I'm now planning my purchase...

SO: The Best Buy ad indicates that if you buy an XBOX you'll get GHII. BUT the picture they show is that of the Pro. It's not clear to me if the bundle is only good with the Pro though! Could I get an elite and still get GHII and an extra controller (plus Forza 2, Marvel, and Halo... what a buy!)?!

What are thoughts? Any BB employees around?!

Here's some more info on what TaroSarask said: if you buy an Xbox 360 between November 21 and December 21, then MS will mail you a free copy of Halo 3 by January 18,2008 when you register on XBox Live.

So it sounds to me that MS is making all of those black Friday deals even sweeter. I really doubt there will be comparable deals to sell the Wii considering that it's already supply constrained.
