Kinda like a High School (KZ franchise) team vs. a pro team (Halo).

in trems of sales, everything is the exact opposite

I disagree. KZ is a "me too" shooter that wouldn't exist if Halo hadn't been so popular.

And Forza is just a "me too" racer that wouldn't exist if GT hadn't been around......sounds retarded doesn't it?

Actually no, that doesn't sound retarded at all. In fact it makes perfect sense. IMHO Forza is a direct answer to GT, MS saw the popularity and sales of GT so they made their own similar racer. IMHO if GT wasn't so pouplar and successful, we probably wouldn't have Forza.

Sorry guy this isn't about Sony vs MS for me, I'm actually a GT guy as I prefer it to Forza. It's a very similar situation, I think Sony does Racers better but I think MS has had better shooters.

Forza and GT5 are sims that can be compared, tracks, gameplay, features, etc.

Kilzone and Halo are shooters............................ and that's it case closed, where forza and gt have the same audience it's no where near the same for killzone and halo, sony wants a halo for ps3, maybe, but killzone for damn sure isn't the answer, it's way to nich and for the hardcore fps gamers.

I'm pretty sure Sony would have rather had Halo-like succes for KZ, just because that didn't happen doesn't mean they didn't try. They're more comparable to each other then they are to generic military shooter like COD, Battlefield, Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six.

Too earlier to talk about this. Have yet to see anything of KZ3 nor have we seen much of Reach. Both could be huge, both could be huge letdowns.

I like both franchises though so would be fun to compare once I get my hands on them.

ummm, unless KZ3 has controls that caters to the masses, it won't be the Reach killer. KZ2 control was one of the reasons why it failed to appeal to the masses, on top of the name KILL in the name which parents stay the hell away from, and overall dark and bloody scheme. It's not a mass market game, simple as that.

Switch the name to Happyfuntimezone 3 and have it set in the mystical forest of unicorns and lollipops! Then once they start playing its a whole new story ;D

My opinion:
Killzone 2- Graphics
Halo 3- Gameplay, Multiplayer, Campaign, Vehicles and Sales

This is probably what will happen with Halo: Reach x Killzone 3

we already went over this

killzone has a better multiplayer.

Sorry. Disagree. So do 2 million regular players. It is supported more and has the best matchmaking system in a FPS online.

Game not out yet versus a game not out yet?

Tough call.

It's just that simple.

killzone is in some ways, halo not at all, and I agree with that first part, they just should have let GG know
