Sony’s plans for the financial year will be revealed around late February/early March and if Killzone 3 is a part of that plan you can expect to see a lot of news about the game.

This is what I heard: There was talk of trying to release the game by the end of 2010 to compete with Halo: Reach. I personally doubt that this will happen. I am almost certain we will see Killzone 3 Feb/March 2011. I can shed some more light on this next month.

what do you guys think  about that ?     does  Killzone 3  have a  chance    against  Halo Reach      i know  that  Killzone 3 will be  a big game   to me   Killzone  2     is a  Halo  killer      ( note  i have played halo 3 before )     can  killzone  3     compete with  Halo Reach  

Different Consoles , Different Sales , Different Games.

Both Great BUT in Sales No WAY , Killzone 3 cant compete with Reach.

It cant compete with it sales-wise,Halo Reach will probably have a bigger 1st week than KZ3's 1st whole year
In terms of graphics,i wanna see Reach beating KZ2 first

I suppose that if what bungie is telling about Halo : Reach is true, then there is no point in comparing the games graphically as th two shooters will be completely different. Killzone is about going one way to the goal while Reach is supposeably about wide terrain warfare. If Reach were to have graphics on par with Killzone 3 then it would be a slap to the face for Guerilla Games.

sales-wise, hype-wise and otherwise Killzone is a couple leagues behind Halo.

KZ2 is niche game and although it may play better in different peoples opinion and have better graphics but Halo has a bigger fanbase=more sales

No, in both ways.

KZ3 would get smashed and buried, simple as that. You're basically comparing one of the biggest franchises today with an average shooter that has pretty graphics.

KZ will never be a "Halo Killer" that title belongs to COD 4:MW, and IMHO COD:MW is the new shooter to beat. It never "killed" Halo but it overtook it as the most popular shooter, and that is something that no KZ game could ever do. Not in a million years.
