Different colour box and no Nintendo seal of quality on it. It makes me sad that Nintendo puts their seal on some of that garbage.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

It makes me sad so many of you don't get it's just a marketing gimmick. It doesn't mean a game is actually good. Look at the games the Angy Video Game Nerd reviews. Save for the unlicensed games, all NES and SNES games had the seal.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Hm, that's interesting. This could go both ways, either helping the sales or hurting them...

Nintendo is making a lot of changes. Frankly, I think they're good. But I also think they're about 2 years too late to help sales for third party games.

Yeah, good for parents who will now know automatically which games aren't suitable for their little kids.

Isn't there a color for that already? White?

Now THAT is CHAMPAGNE QUALITY COMEDY!

This is an intriguing concept. It gives Nintendo greater license to go after the Teen and Mature demographic. It is an easy way for parents to acknowledge which games are safe for the family and which aren't. This could help, even a little bit, in some upward expansion towards the more Mature demographics, while maintaining Nintendo's family friendly image.

Most likely a move to attract the younger demographic that 360 and PS3 cater to. It may be a generalization but 14-25 years old male don't seem to appreciate brigth color very much (in the West anyway).
