@LTNK. Aren't IGN's review/editorial staff different? There seems to be a lot less Wii bashing in their reviews than the editorials.

It's the review system I'm calling on in general.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

"IGN gave the original 7.8."

The original IMO was a 8,5.
Does that mean this one is gonna be a 9,5 to me? Woot!

Yea, I felt the original was a solid 8.0. With this, it is a 9.2! Some things I was already expecting in the sequel (lack of supreme polish, negligible framerate dips)

It's better than any of the Wii series games. Who thinks it will hit 20 million?

I think it can do 1/10 of that

Review sounds fair. With some polish and frame rate fixes it would be a solid 9 for them. Though theres lots of games out there that get a 9 and higher and still lack polish and have frame issues. I'm a bit torn I guess. But I loved NMH1 so I'll love this from the sounds of the review.

It's just that simple.

Too bad IGN hates the Wii, we don't care for this review.

I would be almost as surprised if it hit 2 million on Wii as if it hit 20 million.  My thought is 500,000.

To me, the inconsistent frame rate in the first NMH, along with some of the other rough graphics, gave it a bit of charm. It's a series that isn't about having the most polished graphics, but rather having them functional enough for the surreal elements of the game to not be hampered by them.

A whole point up. About what i expect from the media in general, to make this a solid B game under the auspices of metacritic

Though it'll always be A work in my heart...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
