Forums - Gaming Discussion - Nominees Announced for Spike's 2007 Videogame Awards

Uhm... one could argue that every game on that list deserves to be there... people just have different opinions of what game is better... I would say just get over it.

There are so many good games out this year that to limit nominees to 4 games for each category will ultimately leave out some awesome games.

Not saying I completely agree with their nominees, since I havent even played all those games.

Spike is inherently full of fail

Dodece you have really fallen from grace in my opinion unless that was sarcasm on your part.

Halo 3 was nothing innovative, all it did was refine two pre-existing games.

SMG is revisiting of innovation once thought lost and a feeling of excitement in gaming. Perhaps it doesn't deserve to be GOY, but it at least deserves to be nominated. We know it at least deserves the nomination because of the reviews it has received and our own experience with the demo. Sure there are fanboys here, but you seem to have a bad habbit of mistaking fanboy support for poor arguments.

Again Dodece it seems you've stumbled into another thread without recognizing the context of the discussion first. You're a brilliant debater, but if you're going to be sloppy in what fights you decide to take on, then all your clever arguments mean nothing.
