Forums - Gaming Discussion - Patcher: Bioshock 2 success based on reviews.

His name is PACTHER, not PATCHER. Whoa... you copied the title from examiner.com, and they're the ones who made the mistake. Aaahahahaha.

Funny they all confident that ME2 is coming to PS3. Man it looks sweet, so I'd like it if it did of course.

Pachter makes obvious sense when talking about 3rd party exclusives being not good business sense. But Money talks, so if the console maker pays for exclusivity then it will be so. And then there's developers like Valve who just don't want to make games for a particular platform.

I liked Bioshock a lot less after playing the far superior and longer Fallout3.
I'll pick up Bioshock 2 when it hits $20.

I totally object that point of view.

Bioshock was a classic FPS with a terrific story which is rare for an FPS game. Fallout 3 well that's a WRPG and it was incredibly short for an RPG which are supposed to be much longer in duration.  Fallout 3 was just a shortened Oblivion with guns.

Who knows this gen. AC2 review scores were better than the first game, but it hasn't sold like the first one.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. AC2 is tracking way ahead of AC1 and it's only a matter of time before it outsells it, though the release of AC3 this year could keep AC2's sales from reaching even higher levels.

Can you really say that with the four DLC packs.  Also Broken steel allowed the level cap to 30.  Sorry off topic

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

Bio shock was probably my most pleasant surprise. I went into the game with no expectations and have to say I totally fell in love with it. People say the vita chambers made it to easy I liked that aspect let me explore different options on how I wanted to play. Just on the strength of the first one this is a must buy. If you haven't played this game I cant recommend it enough, it was an FPS that totally draws you into its world.

You mean a game which appeals to the informed gamer would sell badly if it got bad reviews? Shocking.

Pachter is being REALLY daring lately, right? First he predicts that the Wii will will December 2009, and now THIS.

Hahahhaa.  What a stupid typo.  For the record I have a big band-aid on my right index finger because I slashed it open on a broken glass last night, and I was typijng this REALLY FAST in a fit of rage since I see his name spelled wrong all the time and it always drives me mad.

But yeah, that's gotta be my stupidest typo ever.  I'm gonna leave this head with my tail between my legs...
