heres the deal..........a friend of mine got a new ellite xbox 360  and  gave me his old  xbox 360 with a 20 gig hard drive that had some games he bought from xbox live.....long behold the system red ringed... so i sent the console only off to microsoft to fix......they sent me a replacement system back today(not the same one my friend gave me ).......  i put in the 20 gig hard drive he gave me with the games on it ... but when i went to play the games they were all demos only......did i lose the all those games ?????????????

You need to go on XBL and transfer the licenses. Is he still using the same gamertag that he used to originally download them?

as of right now its off line..........but i hope to be online soon......i found out one thing about my replacement.........it was made in 2010-01-01 its brand new plus its a jasper model .........i found a option last night to recover a account but i have to get on xbox live to do it .......
