Oh yeah, you get what you pay for with XBOX Live by the way!! Just thought I would throw that in since the fanboys love to talk about free online, despite the fact that every game I've played online has had serious issues when it was first released on the PS3.

Actually the servers are from Infinity ward, maybe they werent expecting so many ps3 users to get cod4 and play online.

Yeah, paying for Xbox live does make the Xbox live service better... because microsoft has an insentive to fix problems so they don't lose subsriptions or have to comp people.

I still wouldn't pay for Xbox live however. What can i say, i'm cheap... also i'm not huge on the online pay.

My friend has been playing the 360 version online, and quite likes it. No issues with lag or server connections.

I just finished the game moments ago... If you do, let the credits play through and there is one last mission on a plane to unlock arcade and cheats...

Lot's of fun... I will be playing missions over and over, and doing a ton more online...

I believe people are right when they say it is CoD2 with new window dressing though... I wouldn't give it game of the year because the engine behind the game doesn't appear to be that much more then CoD2, and there is no co-op campaign (That really disappointed me). But, it is still a really great game.

There is no problem on the PS3.
The server was down for a short amount of time earlier today.
It is now fixed
This is the most beautifully setup online game for the PS3 so far in my opinion.
Voice chat is abundant, matches are made quickly and accurately.

If nitpicking is what we do best- then I ask you why is it that there are no dedicated servers? - It is because of the 360.

Regardless, Absolutely no problems for me, outside of the small hiccup earlier. Lag is hardly even an issue. Almost never slows down or lags for me.

I can tell you it works better than COD2, or COD3 did on the 360.
In my particular case anyways.

̶3̶R̶D̶ 2ND! Place has never been so sweet.

Hmm, not out on PC until Nov 12th, at least on Steam where I generally buy my PC stuff if I have the option.
