Kirby is one of the main "surefire" titles that Nintendo know will sell decently. While I wish they'd switch it up a bit, I know I'd probably love a Kirby game more then most other IPs from Nintendo. 

IIRC, Kirby Wii existed but was shelved a long time ago. Of course my reference to that is a wikipedia article so who knows if that's accurate or not.

 I could also picture there being a Wave Race game in the works based on the popularity of Wii Sports Resort. 

Then there is the always rumored Kid Icarus and the fashionably late announcement for the possibility of a new Mario Party coming out. 

And of course, I can just dream that they'll bring Donkey Kong back to his DKC/64 era. :[ 

Kirby Wii wasn't officially shelved, it's been on NCL release lists every year.  

 

If we do get Kirby Wii in March though, I think that means no Galaxy 2 for Golden Week . :(

Wouldn't Exciteboat pretty much be Wave Race? I would actually like a new Wave Race, don't know if the GC one was any good but I liked the N64 one.

Perhaps it will be waverace. :D

They could do it like the original WaveRace 64 concept, which was basically F-Zero on water.  I'd LOOOOOVE that! <3<3

Not that it's set in stone, but I seem to remember sometime last year (2009) in some Nintendo briefing for investors or something like that, that Nintendo mentioned Kirby Wii as one of the upcoming Nintendo games for Japan within this FY.

now jarrod is getting everyone's hope up for Kirby... it will be a bigger disappointment if that's not it.

Nintendo should do good for Golden week in Japan with either SMG2 or Kirby though.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

NDKC Wii = New Donkey Kong Country Wii: A classic donkey Kong Country game.
NLOZ Wii = New Legend of Zelda Wii: a game similar to a Link to the past, with graphics like 4 Swords Adventure but singleplayer, with a bonus 4 Swords Adventure disc with 4 people (no need to NDS this time, folks!) with 5 new bonus dungeons.



Above: still the best game of the year.

If we get more infor on SMG2 and Metroid then i'm happy. My money is on Pikmin 3 though

Well, they sort of owe a Wii Kirby to the fans, I think. It's been far too long since we have seen a great Kirby game.

 

I have dreams of Nintendos E3 being filled with SMG2, Metroid Other M, new Zelda Wii, Kirby Wii, Starfox Wii and Pikmin 3. If they do that, I'll bust a nut for sure.

Hmmm... Kirby? Could be, I mean HAL have got to be working on something, right? Besides those Pokémon Ranger titles and some other minor DS games... besides, they've had "Kirby (unreleased)" for Wii on their Wikipedia page for some time now... Would make sense, I guess.

Hey, Gran Turismo Mobile was in limbo for almost as long of a time (announced pretty much alongside the PSP back in 04, finally released late last year), so these games can come out of limbo as long as the company remains dedicated to them, and Nintendo has, if those annual release lists can be believed.
