This is not great news.... this would be the ultimate ending, most series' that try to branch off and expand on a different character or whatever are usually not as good as the original material. I'm a Hardcore God of War fan, and this is definitely the last thing I wanted to happen.

YESSSSS, I love God of War and to see such a great series just end would kinda suck. Its going to be interesting to see how Santa Monica studios conjure up another God of War game without Kratos. It would be like taking out Nolan North as the voice actor for Nathan Drake; It wouldn't seem right. But I'm happy to hear that they will continue creating more games :)

mmmm i hope this turns out good. God of War w/o kratos? Hopefully they will not make a mess out of gow. I love this series to much to see it ruined. Let's hope for the best

Nobody is forcing you to play the extra game(s). After you play GOW3 don't get any more games in the series and your problem is fixed....
