Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Got good PC and PS3...Give me reason to buy Xbox 360.

So I was going to buy Xbox 360 but after sometime I noticed, I didin't have any games I would want for it...So I checked Xbox 360 game of the year games and noticed I could play almost all of them on my Pc or Ps3.

Well Alan Wake is coming, Shadow Complex, maybe Gears of war 2 (well have played 2 times already),Castle Crashers,Bayonetta...But are these enough for Elite 229€+50€ for live?

Why do u want reasons from randoms, if u want it go buy it, if u dont, know one really cares

Mass effect 1 & 2, Splinter cell Conviction, Metro 2033, gears of war etc... your missing out mate. (jkz)

Seriously tho Fable,Halo, crackdown and sumthing sumthing are still only 360 so unless your not interested in them then your all set with your PC+ps3.

While I think you should put some more effort into looking for reasons why you should get a 360 yourself, here are just some brief experiences you only get on the Xbox 360.

Exclusive Games:

Gears of War 2
Halo Series 3 and onwards
Forza Motorsport Series
Fable Series 2 and onward
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
Etc.

If you're interested in things like project Natal, that could be a plus.

Online:
Instant 1080 streaming
Movie Parties
Etc.

Arcade Games:
Shadow Complex
'Splosion Man
Etc.

Well main reason is that I'm bored.And I got many friends who have Xbox 360.And I don't want Wii.But I don't care for Halos/Forzas.
I can play Mass effect on Pc.
I can play Fallout/others beside Fable.
Crackdown 2 sounds interesting..
Not interested in Natal.

^- well it sounds like you've made up your mind.

If you have friends on XBL who you want to play with, then it really doesn't matter if the same games are available on PC if that's not the platform they game on, even if it means playing scaled down console versions.

For all the reasons MS fans like to come up with to justify the added XBL online gaming cost (less than a cup of Starbucks a month, in-game chat, whatever) it surprises me that everyone overlooks the most basic reason to stay on XBL: to game with the friends you have that also subscribe to the service.

Beyond that, the Xbox has enough true exclusive titles to keep one as a secondary console, even if you don't play the hell out of it.

If you don't have the extra cash for another platform that will be seldom used, or don't value whatever exclusives the platform has to make the purchase, then why even ask "should I get one?"

The only reasons I'd get one are:

-good deal on live.. hunt online for those
-if your NOT a fighter fan( D-pad sucks)
-halo/fable/alan wake/gow3/bayonetta/ME2/forza 3
-if you find natal interesting

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Personaly I want a 360 for a few games that have not and probably will not come to PC.

Fable 2

Gears fo War 2

Halo 3

Other than that, I have all that I need from the 360, either from my PS3 or my PC.

If you feel the same, it might not be all that worth it, unless you have a lot of extra cash lying around.

Isn't Castle Crashers coming on PS3 though?

I really can't find a good option for you to get a 360 since you have a good PC.

Well there's Fable 3, Metro 2033, Gears of War 2, Halo Reach and Alan Wake.
