Mine was a close up between 96-01 and 02-05 i choose 02-05 b/c of memorable games that made a big impact in gaming like GTA series, Need For Speed series, Max Payne, Tony Hawk series, MGS3, RE:CV, RE4 also there was 4 systems then.  I would probably say i had the most fun form 84-94 simply b/c i was yonger then i had more imagination while gaming.  I dont really feel a big step up from this gen compared to the last which was my favorite IDK none of the games impacted me this gen I dont care much bout grafx there pretty and all but i cant just stand around and look at the screen.  I feel like this gen is having a slow start i believe the great epic games are still ahead of us starting around this year to 2014 so i'll see if i change my mind.

Super Nintendo, Sega Megadrive/Genesis, Commodore Amiga / AtariST & PC Best time for me by far. About 1990-1995 around that area, before this time was good too; but the highlight was around then 1990-1995. A time when only 4 people were required to make a great game. These days it is only about the money they can make, and the download content etc.. and less about the creativity & design into what makes a game great. There are some good games now don't get me wrong, but definitely fewer. I believe the best that games had to offer has already gone, gaming as a whole has changed, and not for the better either.
