Another FPS isn't the end of anything, it's just "more of the same".

Will it sell? Yes. Will it sell half as many copies as Wii Fit or Nintendogs? No.

Halo 3 should also be the ultimate blow and it gave 360 a one month boost before returning to normal sales again...

In my opinion, Call of Duty just became more important than Halo.

If the next CoD brings some exclusive content only available on X360 then it may give the console some months boost. Like Natal support.

I dont see how Reach is going to attract more people to the 360.

When it comes to attracting new gamers, Halo is in the land of diminishing returns. It will sell a boatload of copies, it will draw in a few new 360 owners. What it won't do is transform the 360 into a marketplace behemoth; Halo 3 was Microsoft's trump card in that regard.

like everyone else has said here (not trolling), everyone who wants Halo already owns a X360, just like everyone who wants FF will buy a PS3 in march (mostly, some will buy a x360 for FF)

So Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 moving a few extra thousand consoles for a few weeks were system sellers but Halo Reach will not be when it gives a huge boost for a month. I really do despair of the hypocrisy on this site.
