No one can argue that XBox 360 is not the leader in RPGs.

PS3

Updated February 3.

Mass Effect = 96
White Knight Chronicles = 65

I will give my view again, in case you guys did not hear me say it before.
360 is WRPG king: Mass effect 1 and 2 and Fable 2 and Fable 3(released later this year)+ multi-plat games (Oblivion and Fallout 3).
PS3 is JRPG king: FFXIII(better version apparently), Valkyria Chronicles(JRPG of the gen?), FFXIII Versus(PS3 exclusive) and other JRPGs.

360 has plenty of notable stuff in the JRPG department that PS3 doesn't though.  Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant, Monster Hunter Frontier, Infinite Undiscovery, Magna Carta II, Tales of Vesperia (in english)...

PS3 can't exactly make the same claim for WRPGs... this isn't a 50/50 split, 360 comes out ahead overall imo.

Have there been any notable JRPG releases this generation for the west? Until Final Fantasy releases I wouldn't say so. In any case would one weight the JRPG/WRPG games based on volume of sales for the genre? Say if there are 20 JRPGs and 10 WRPGs but the WRPGs individually outsold the JRPGs then the WRPGs are worth twice as many 'points' as a single JRPG.

Do you know what its like to live on the far side of Uranus?

PC is king of WRPG.

It has superior versions of every major wRPG released on X360,
It has moddding community producing tons of free content for those games often improving them to way better standards than developer itself (huge oblivion mods, a lot of content for fallout 3).
It has it's own exclusives like Witcher, Torchlight or if we count it as RPG King's Bounty
It has huge library of legacy titles which due to unique pc capabilities still have acceptable levels of visuals (you can play for example Kotor 1 or JE in fullhd with maximum AA and AF settings making them look much less outdated then console versions)

PC also has superior versions of some JRPGs, like FFXI and The Last Remnant.

If we're moving past the HD twins though, DS can rightfully take it's JRPG King crown.

PC is the king for btoh. With emulation, you can play most of the JRPG's anyway.
