Yay, so a DVR for the free limited over the air channels! Woopie! I think I'll stick with my Verizon Fios DVR and 500+ channels, thanks.

some people can't afford pay-tv.

But they can afford a $300 console + games + internet + this probably $100+ device?  Nice logic.

Maybe I put it wrong then. Most people don't think its worth paying so much money then.

You can record cable TV, Dish network, Direct TV, Its a great idea, plus you can put on your PSP, sounds cool, may have to purchase.

well, not only is it a dvr, but it's a digital tuner as well, so people who still have yet to purchase one will be able to substitute this instead. Pretty cool.

This is true.  My rents never thought it was worth it.  But as soon as I got my own place, I got it and I find it very worth it.

lulz, I literally just bought playtv yesterday and already I love it but I think I'll skip on this.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

europe already have their own version which has been out for ages. it's called play tv. it's been out for at least a year or so and it does everything this does.

everybody knows that, but i think this could be something new and improved and better communicate with sony devices

ahaaaaaa!!! i am sure it is possible to mod em to view all channels. After all, its just a matter of unlocking frequencies isnt it?

My mate has a chipped cable box and he is trying to find a way to make play tv work with the chipped cable box so he can record the payperview channels etc too.

Highly illegal and probably doesn't work for most systems.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

yeah, but it's essentially the same. only difference is that you can connect a usb hdd or psp directly to it to transfer files. other than that it's no different.
