Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rising Star Games - Little King's Story still selling well

Never underestimate the power of word of mouth. I'm glad to here this game is getting decent sales, it really deserves it. One of my favorite and most played Wii games.

Are the sales on Vgchartz for this title correct? They can't be.

Happy for marvelous i love muramasa, no more horoes and little lking's story.

I can't wait for no more heores 2, fragile dreams, rune factory and arc of fantasia.

Hooray  to that.

I loved Little King's Story, Rune Factory Frontier and No More Heroes.

I still got to play Muramasa and I'm planning to do the same with Fragile and ARF. All of them quality efforts.

I see, I thought it was counted along with the "others" category on the charts. How many units has it sold in Europe then? Any official numbers anywhere?

They do for LKS. And I'd argue that they could be accurate, as the sales are continuing steadily.

This is some great news! It's nice to know that these games are becomin' "cult hits", and made enough profits... maybe their sales seem ridiculous when compared to the ones of the biggest PS360 blockbusters of the year, but it's a proof Wii may be a viable and healthy market for quality niche games sellin' only 250k to 500k...

Same thing for Madworld, at least the people at Platinum seem happy with the results, to the point of thinkin' about a sequel... just like it happened with No More Heroes: both games around 400k...

Btw, it's maybe time to praise Marvelous (as well as the help they get from Xseed in US and Rising Star in Europe): they're BY FAR the best 3rd party publishers on Wii, and put a shame on Capcom, Konami, Namco, Ubisoft, EA and Activision...

Well, not Sega, cos they're the only other ones really tryin' to deliver both quality and quantity on Wii... but they don't succeed, they're just tryin'... (just kidding, Sega fans, just kidding... ;)

Marvelous makes great games, but they're still losing money on the wii. They need more money to advertise their games, nintendo should help.
