Don't forget that Nintendo had to cut the price of the console to sell more of them this Christmas, that's a sign that it's struggling.

After being the same price for three years and STILL whooping the 360 & PS3's asses, I'd say that price cut was just a time to move on more than "struggling". How can you sell nearly 2 million units for two straight weeks in a row and be "struggling"? The 360 and PS3 must be on life support then.

But the PS3 and 360 cost more so it was okay for them to have a price cut because there was more price to be cut.

Both Sony and Microsoft have cut prices, reconfigured packages, etc. several times before the Wii even got its first price cut...I don't think the price cut argument really holds merit...

Bah!

Let's look at our first piece of evidence: loss of market share.

According to this thread, the Wii was at 48.9% marketshare!  It's now at 48.7%!

It's funny, for two straight gens, people claimed Nintendo was "doomed/domed", "on their way out" and such....

Haven't people learned, Nintendo continues to have the last laugh. They got their asses handed to them by Sony for two gens, while continuing to make money, and more money than Sony.

"Domed" eh....?

I think you'll find this thread proves Nintendo are doomed and on their way out.

Have you not seen how rapidly they're losing marketshare!?

How many of these baiting threads will we have..? You can say it's a parody, but it's not like anything separates this so called parody from the real thing.

I would have been one of the first responders if it wasn't clear you were a Wii owner.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

I think you'll find the thing that seperates this thread from baiting thread is that it's obviously a parody and not a baiting thread.

*facepalm*

*sigh*

How many times do we have to say it?

The Xbox 360 is not undertracked by that much!

2/5 of the video game systems you own are Nintendo products, whereas only 1/5 are Microsoft products.  It's understandable to wish that your favorite system remains on top, but denying press reports from Microsoft is sad.  There's absolutely NO explanation for why Microsoft has 3 million consoles sitting around on shelfs throughout the world.

The Wii will survive for a little while longer because WM+ was a fad (soon to be replace by Sony Wand and Natal) and that fad will be followed up by the Vitality Sensor fad, which won't last nearly as long because if you think motion control is bad, people won't want to play with a clip on their finger.

i love this post lol

I lover the HD consoles and ... have my opinions about the wii, but

Joke thread?
