Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Muramasa, I already got the 6 endings... where is the octopus?

NOTE: I didn't know exactly where to put this post, as I can't create a game specific thread (or I don't know how to do it)

Hi all!

The title is quite self-explanatory. I've beaten muramasa (awesome game) and got the 6 different endings in shura mode. I have the 108 swords, level 99 for both kisuke and momohime and all the equipment... In the credits they thank me for beating the game completely... In other circumstances I'd think that it's all done... But I've got a problem...

In the web this photo can be found in many sites (including VGchartz):

Where is this boss?? (Note that kisuke has life meter is only 100)

In the 3rd Kisuke ending he says is going to sail somewhere, but then the game ends... Where should I go to fight the octopus?

Thanks in advance!

Whoa, there's that many endings? Cool! I have to pick this game up someday.
That pic looks epic, bytheway.

You can talk to a fisher in the game, who will bring you from one place to another. During the searide you fight against fishes. I think the octopus is part of this. Sadly I can't tell you where exactly the fisher was ...

Take the boat in ... I can't remember Isa I think. Look at your maps, check for the symbol of a boat. There will be a couple of guys who told you that they took the boat and there was a monster. Some players have met two octopus, personnaly §I tried once and got pwnd hard, because you can't use specials. Besides it's timed, you have 60 sec to defeat the giant octopus. Good Luck !

Thanks!

Well... Yes, I've met some sailors in the game, but I went always walking...

I'll start sailoring then... and then I guess the game is finished, because I don't have the courage (or madness) necessary to play in extreme mode... It's just too much (how can you fight many of the bosses without getting hurt? and how do you fight against the second endings' bosses? (I won't say who/what are they :) ))

EDIT: AfterKilly_Vorkosigan's info, I just got more excited about it. Sounds cool :)

@Cheebee

I bought the game in GameStop for 25€... It's worth every cent... The game clock says I've played 30 hours and a half in shura mode... not bad... The easy/normal mode was too easy and I stopped playing after 8 hours... after all in difficult/shura mode is only really hard in certain moments of the game...

One thing, though... the 3rd ending for every character is quite straightforward... maybe I just spent too much time leveling up and getting equipment (I already had all the equipment and lvl99 for the second endings), but after getting the second ending of each character in 30 minutes I got the third...

I has to be said, though, that no matter the level you have, the game is more or less equally difficult, because monsters get harder. The only game-breaker object is the equipment earned in Izu "Temple"

Damn I always walked everywhere too. I'm gonna have to load up my last save and see if I can run into this Kraken like foe.

This game is just amazing. Played 60 hours straight, had a lot of fun. Go get this game if you haven't already.
