Wii has pastgen graphics which makes me.
Kingdom Hearts 3 might even be on Wii given the great relations between Square-Nintendo, the good use of Wii-Mote and stuff and they also said they don't wanna help Sony A LOT so they already have XIII and VS XIII... KH3 or Hearesis XIII will be on Wii... mark my words.

Soulxxx said: I don't know which are exclusives so I'd ask you to take the non-exclusives out of your list because they would DEFINATELY sell better on the other two consoles. You can't compete with the PS3. Just by the name I can tell you which games are far from hardcore: -Big Brain Academy -Super Smash Bros. Brawl (I know this one to be a kiddie game) -SSX: Blur (This game is already out and it sux according to critics) -Super paper mario. (SRSLY, Mario is a hardcore game?? Where are you living?? More like "WHEN" are you living?) -Super smash football wii. (HUH?!? I think the PES franchise is better.. how else would you call 7 freaking titles? mind you, I don't like soccer, but a lot of people do, so I don't think if anyone's thinking to buy a soccer game, he'd buy a Wii and Super smash football. The Super Smash alone makes it sound like a Joke) -Tennis Masters (Not hardcore and exactly the same gameplay as Virtua Tennis 3, I'm 100% sure) I bet there's more and I bet there's twice as much non-exclusives in that list that will sell MUCH better on the PS360. I just don't know these games.. probably means they will sell poop. And GAMES are just an opinion, just so you know. However, quality isn't... and we can tell which games are Hardcore and which are not so this list is pointless, and it definately doesn't live up to it's header.
1st Super Smash Bros. Brawl is FAR from a casual or kiddie game. It's a fighter. and 2nd SSX: Blur sucks? Gamespot gave it a 7.4... i don't think a 7.4 game sucks... and about the multiplatform thing... you claim that multi-platform titles will sell definately better on the other consoles... i think there are some multi-platform games who sold better on Wii than PS3. And still... who talked about sales?

I think the PS3 will reach 1m in 'Others' first. The reason why I say that? Err... there are less Wii's here? *Runs

Good to see this site is still going

@StarcraftManiac: Are Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Harmony really announced for the Wii? I've never heard about that til now but i'd really love to play these games! @Topic: PS3 will probably reach the million first in Europe, but to be sure, we have to wait for the sales in Europe of at least the next two weeks, because we don't know yet if already 90 % of the europeans who want a PS3 now or in the next weeks already have bought one.

See how it always boils down to opinions??? That should mean something. Opinions won't give you sales... period. The word hardcore is subjective on it's own! But quality isn't... In my book there are no numbers.. there's Pass and Fail. Pass are games that I like and give a long lasting appeal. Fail are games that bore me after 2 hours. And this system works on the consoles too.. if A console's games don't appeal to me, it fails in my book... Unfortunately for Wii and 360 fanboys.. this is one gamer that thinks that the PS3's library is appealing to him... therefore it PASSES, and the other two FAIL. And trust me, I'm not the only one... 600K europeans just proved it last weekend. And further sales will strengthen this fact.. Just watch. Sales were brought in to show why the Wii will fade in 2 years.. don't you know? Again, just watch. Oh and 'Others' for sure. I think what I'm about to say is going to kill the competition.. 111 million PS2 users are looking to buy a PS3 after a fun time with the PS2. They know Sony can deliver sequels or equals to these games they've been playing. Let's say 20 million defected because of the price and because of that entire SONY STABBING US IN THE BACK BS (20 million is about half the amount of PS2 players in the US), that still leaves 91 million ps2 players around the world. Lets take half of Japan's too... that leaves you with 71 million. I'll leave Europe in the side cause they love the brand and no way they'll ever defect from it... I'm not talking about people who never bought a console, I'm talking about those who've had or still have a PS2. So 71 million is the number... now sum up the GC's and Xbox's sold... around 47 million. Simple math, is 71 > 47? I think it is. And that is in the worst possible scenario ever. It doesn't matter how fast it gets there or how fast the Wii's or 360s get there. All those GC users are buying the Wii because Nintendo dropped it. Same for the 360. When Sony officially writes off the PS2, you can expect 30 million sales in 3-4 months of the PS3. Sounds far-fetched?? Think it over.. and again.. and again... until it finally sounds right. It's all about past experience, period. With that and the PS3's strong advantages on the competitors besides games, I can even expect that in 10 years, the PS3 install base will top the PS2s... love it or hate it, the past decrees.

Planning on getting a PS3 sometime in July-August.

I'm European... i had a PS2 since launch... and i suppose i'm not the only guy in Europe not willing to give 600 Euros to Sony... And more... you forget the casuals and people who are new to the whole gaming thing... i don't think casuals and newcomers will buy a PS3 at the current price tag and game library... so that makes 71>?. Just because GC and X-Box sold 47m combined it doesn't mean they can't expand their userbase...

I'm sorry, but you can't expect every ps2 owner to buy a ps3. you have looked at it from the side "why shouldn't I buy a ps3 after I had so much fun with my ps2" but this doesn't work. it is more "why should I get a ps3 when I still have that much fun with my ps2?" and what follows out of this question is: "oh, it sounds funny to play by really making the movements. why shouldn't I try this?" You have to remember that the biggest part of your 111m ps2 owners are casuals. they don't care about sony, nintendo or microsoft, they care about fun.

no, casual gamers don't have that kind of name brand loyalty. First of all there is not 120 million individual PS2 owners, many of those are broken PS2s and people that bought multiple systems for various reasons, i personally know a couple that bought the thin one when they had a perfect working normal one. Second once the huge group of casual gamers (and many hardcore ones too) see the price of the ps3 they will immediately go elsewhere. Casual gamers are loyal to their money. Third, with the current sales trends right now Nintendo and/or Microsoft will get so much momentum that it doesn't even matter. Keep on believing that all the PS2 owners will come back, but most of the PS2 owners didn't buy it until it was 200$ or less. Many didn't even buy it until it was 130$. You think those people are honestly gonna buy a PS3? The same people that are eating up Guitar Hero, Eyetoy, and Singstar you think those people are honestly gonna buy a PS3?

You were willing to pay roughly €600 for a PS2 6.5 years ago. You probably earn more money than 6.5 years ago, and the PS3 definitely offers a lot more value for money than the PS2 6.5 years ago... So what are you complaining about ?
