Is there a way to NOT get the videos (drunk, good dad, etc) at the end? One of my friends finished it twice and he says he didn't get any of that.

He didn't collected many mementos, but I thought Mementos didn't affected that.

dahuman - interesting, you must be doing something wrong, as people have beaten the game. hard to say. Sometimes you might be stuck in a room until you make an event occur, and its in a specific spot. In the cabin with the toy piano, I thought I was stuck for a bit too

wow, amazing game, i don't get why on earth this got overlooked, its innovative and refreshing, taking advantage of the Wii's strenghts to offer a unique experience. Wii game of the year 2009 by far, it shits all over new super mario, it sucks that almost every website got lazy and just gave the award to a new mario game. Giant Bomb got it right.



Personally, I didn't think it was all that scary... Walking around for 30 minutes trying to get to the next nightmare mode is pretty boring. This game needs more interaction, more people telling you exactly what you need to do and some concrete goal. Aimless wandering looking for his daughter that would most likely be found only at the end of the story is pretty boring.

This game needs more suspense, it lacked the spectator appeal that RE4 did. Back when I was playing RE4 on the Wii everyone near would immediately be drawn into the TV waiting for the next big monster to suddenly burst out. This game would be better if they had only shorten the part where you have to wander aimlessly.

New games nowadays are well designed in that it's easy to find your path that it's intuitive... they let you wander off a bit but you can only get lost if you intentionally wanted to get lost. Sadly SH: Shattered Memories breaks that mold and lets you go on for long dragging hours searching for the game trigger that would let you proceed with the next bits of boring dialogue. Couldn't finish the game, I wish Wii had some kind of trophy/achievement thing that would encourage me to go on.
