I just watched Avatar in 3D, it was awesome!
So I definitely like 3D and would like for it to come IF it came at a reasonable price, which I think is quite a while away.

Yay. My Bachelor thesis was based on how 3DTVs work and future developments so I've come to love them. But yes, I think they're here to stay this time.

Autostereoscopic screens is what I think the future will be though, none of this goggle based stereoscopic technology. People are not going to wear glasses just to watch tv in their home.

A lot closer than you think I would say, I know some pretty good systems already. Initially autostereoscopic displays will be expensive, but as soon as several manufacturers get involved and demand rises I'm sure the price will drop.

avatar is the first big blockbuster made for 3d originally, so thats a pretty big flag ship. if they advertise 3d tvs and whut not when avatar comes out on blu ray they could push quite a bit.
