Actually, profanity isn't a problem, so long as it isn't meant as an attack/insult/flaming. I'd suggest consulting a mod/admin if your issue bothers you. I'm sure they felt that had reason enough to place the ban. I'm not saying it was justified or not,  just keeping you aware of their position.

I guess that wouldn't hurt either. :P
