5/10 for me.

I don't go back to the NES or C64, or even the TG16... I just can't bear it. I have every Genesis game I want already, and in HD, on my PS3 (way cheaper AND better, imo), with a better controller for classics to boot.

That pretty much boils down to old N64 and SNES games for me... which are totally awesome. Still, they're kinda overpriced. If I didn't own a PS3 and the HD Genesis collection, it'd probably be a 7/10.

8/10. Huge selection, updates are improving, and the emulation quality is simply unmatched. Backbone can rot in hell.

Also, with the Classic Controller/Pro, it's the best way to play most of these games. The only way it could conceivably get better is if Sega released a Saturn pad...

Anyway, additional stuff I'd like to see...

Capcom, Nintendo, Konami, IREM, Data East, SNK, Taito, Atari and others on Virtual Console Arcade. More arcade releases in general.

Lightgun games converted to IR shooting (Duck Hunt, Virtua Cop, etc).

Sega CD and 32-X games added to Genesis library. I needs me some Popful Mail!

New localizations, even if at premium prices. I'd pay $15-20 for some new SNES RPGs.

3rd party N64 games. Though this looks like it's actually happening!

Earthbound. WTF Nintendo!?

I went back and checked the 'wii shop updates i'd like to see' link in the op and noticed that one of the things i hoped for was vc arcade releases. within 2 months, nintendo followed through. only 3 more changes to go.

The VC has amazing games, some for a good price, but most are too expensive.

I'm not going to rate it either, but I would never buy a game on the VC if I had a Wii.
The prices are horrible and besides that I wouldn't pay for anything that was released prior to the PS2 gen.
Not that the games are worthless, but in the end it's just an emulator and I'm surely not paying anything for roms.
I rather download them for free and play them on my PC emulator. (SNES + HD = awesome)
